Third RCA Delegation Off to Pakistan

The UAE's Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has sent a third delegation to Pakistan with aims to further expand its relief operation to help those affected by the country's worst floods.

The delegation, which is led by Secretary General Mohammed Khalifa Al Qamzi and Acting Deputy Secretary General for Relief and Emergency Operation Dr. Saleh Al Tae'i, will be holding meetings with officials of relevant Pakistani authorities to coordinate relief efforts and bolster partnerships.

The Red Crescent Authority is already distributing emergency relief aid in the affected area.

The floods in Pakistan have killed nearly 1,600 people, left 5 million homeless, and affected 23 million.
