OCHA Praises UAE's Effort in Support of Pakistan Flood Victims
Rashid Khalikov, Director of the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has praised UAE's generous contribution in the effort to alleviate suffering of the people affected by floods in Pakistan.
In a meeting held yesterday with Obaid Salem Al Zaabi, UAE's Permanent Representative to the UN's headquarters in Geneva, Khalikov expressed OCHA's gratitude to the quick and effective response made by the UAE to provide relief to the affected people in Pakistan.
Khalikov praised the unlimited and continuous support by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council.
